Step 1 - Book An Introductory Call with Lauren + Team
So you have an idea and a story to tell— but then what? Book a call with the Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design Team to discuss things like creating a business plan, products lines, identifying your target market, aesthetic, logo + web design features, marketing strategy and advertising initiatives. Watch your idea be constructed into a business from the ground up— right before your eyes!
It’s really important to us that you, as the business owner, are able to find the right fit when pursuing your dream. We try our best to have as many members of our team participate in the introductory process so you are able to get to know us better and determine if we are a right fit for you.
Question: Does an introductory call cost anything?
Answer: NO! We want to hear from you and explain how we can help bring your ideas to life. There is absolutely no charge to get on an introductory call with our team of professionals!
Step 2 - Review Your Customized Proposal
After covering the initial bases in your introductory call, the Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design Team will curate a custom proposal that encompasses and details each phase of the brand creation process. Each and every proposal sent out by our team is custom to your needs and your needs only— marketing and design is not one size fits all!
We only want to charge you for services that are necessary for your new business to flourish.
Question: Can you tell me about your compensation structure?
Answer: We work by a retainer + hourly compensation structure. The monthly retainer covers any/all administrative duties performed routinely and is auto-drafted to the card on file on the first of the month. An hourly time sheet that covers services like social media management or content creation is submitted bi-weekly. The reason our structure is multi-faceted, is so we are granted creative flexibility before situational items arise and so we are able to pivot freely when tasks that may be outside of our normal scope of activities need accomplished. This allows for seamless completion of tasks without having to re-negotiate terms or our scope of practice when on a time crunch.
Step 3 - Sign + Go
After reviewing your customized proposal, the Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design team will submit a contract that outlines the working agreement and ensures all parties are confident in expectations and timeline. Upon signing this working agreement, the Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design team will begin construction of your new brand!
Question: What are the terms of your all inclusive marketing and design agreements?
Answer: Terms are explicitly outlined in our agreements to ensure you are comfortable with timeline and expectations from both parties. They are a year minimum in length— as we always say, marketing is a marathon and not a sprint. Good things take time and don’t happen overnight, right?! While it would be amazing to work for you 40 hours a week like companies that hire full time employees, many times that is not feasible for a start up or small operation. We will work with you to find harmony between budget and productivity to maximize results over the year long period!
Question: Do I have to sign a year long contract just for design work?
Answer: No! Our minimum year long contract requirement is only applicable for long term marketing relationships, such as those where Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design may launch + run your social media etc for you. If you are just booking design work, there is no time length applicable to the agreement.
Step 4 - Launch
After the design process is complete and your brand new website is public, supporting systems like social media pages will be created and linked to your brand new site. The Lauren Schmid Marketing + Design team will help you create a Launch Plan that is complimentary to operational goals and will illustrate the who, where, how and when. Question: I don’t know how to manage my own social media— and/or I have no interest in doing so after launch. Is that included in the all inclusive marketing and design package?
Answer: YES! The Lauren Schmid Marketing and Design team will sit down with you and knock out 8-12w eeks of social media content complimentary to the operational goals, and even execute it for you on a weekly basis, ensuring all marketing materials remain ON BRAND! By putting this system in place, you can focus more on your important stuff like managing the leads that come in, or even shipping out your product or being present at events! We value face to face interaction and encompassing the values that make your business— you! We happily travel all over the United States to sit down with you and capture weeks worth of content through professional photography and videography services, also included in your agreement!
